Project Notes: This seemingly simple 2-story single-resident-occupancy shared living space over ground-level retail building had the added challenge of a full length storefront window on the short end requiring a rigid diaphragm to cantilever out to support this area, all while not deflecting laterally over the property line set inches from the structure.
